This costume of Lightning the character from the game Final Fantasy XIII (by Square Enix) was made in 2010.
Top, waistcoat and skirt are cloths altered and dyed.
The main object of experiment was the use of imitation leather to turn the shoes into boots, create the bag on the leg, waist belt and several smaller parts.
The armor shoulder piece was mold using plaster.
The level of detail was pushed to create a copy of the pendant, and adding rivets and eyelets everywhere there had to be one, even if invisible once worn.
